The IORA Regional Centre for Science and Technology Transfer (IORA RCSTT) and The Academic Center for Education, Culture, and Research of the I. R. Iran (ACECR) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to develop international scientific collaborations on 22nd September 2024. The Director of RCSTT, Dr. Mohammad Reza Sanjabi, emphasized the importance of the Indian Ocean Rim Association and the common points among its Member States. He also introduced RCSTT’s Regional Coordination Centres within China, India, and South Africa which ACECR can cooperate with. Dr. Fathollahi, Vice President for Research and Technology of ACECR, highlighted the potential of ACECR and stressed the need to develop this cooperation to achieve the priorities of IORA.
During the meeting, education, culture, and entrepreneurship deputies of ACECR shared their ideas on cooperation. Additionally, the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of I. R. Iran spoke about the benefits of this collaboration, which aims to elevate the level of technology in IORA’s Member States.
