Attendance of RCSTT Director at Indonesia's Independence Day Celebration

 

The Indonesian Embassy in Tehran celebrated the 79th anniversary of the country's Independence Day on September 5, 2024. The event was attended by high-ranking officials and diplomats, including Dr. Sanjabi, the Director of the Regional Centre for Science and Technology Transfer (RCSTT). Dr. Sanjabi was invited by the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia in Tehran, H.E. Mr. Ronny Prasetyo Yuliantoro, to participate in the celebration.

During the ceremony, the Indonesian Ambassador to Tehran delivered a speech in which he emphasized Indonesia's progress over the past 79 years. He highlighted the country's achievements in maintaining political and economic stability, eradicating poverty, building infrastructure, and facilitating investment. The Ambassador also discussed Indonesia's economic growth, which has consistently outpaced the global average.

The Ambassador mentioned that the theme of the 79th Anniversary Celebration implied Indonesia's commitment to advancing with its new capital, which is a strategic step taken to achieve the Vision of Golden Indonesia 2045. This vision aims for Indonesia to become a developed and prosperous country by its centenary in 2045.

On the sidelines of the celebration, H.E. Mr. Yuliantoro and Dr. Sanjabi discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation, particularly in the fields of science, technology, and innovation. They expressed hope for enhanced collaboration between Indonesia and the RCSTT.
