On April 29, 2025 a ceremony was held in Tehran to celebrate the Independence Day of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, an IORA country. Dr. Sanjabi, the Director of the Regional Centre for Science and Technology Transfer (RCSTT), was invited by the Ambassador of Bangladesh in Tehran, H.E. Mr. M. Karim Khan Chowdhury, to participate in the celebration.
The Independence and National Day of the People's Republic of Bangladesh was declared on 26 March 1971 and is commonly associated with political speeches, fairs, concerts, ceremonies, and various other public and private events celebrating the history and traditions of Bangladesh. The People's Republic of Bangladesh is a Member state of IORA and held the previous rotating presidency of the CSO meetings.
During the event, Dr. Sanjabi congratulated the Ambassador and the people of Bangladesh on their National Day. He also discussed the ongoing cooperation between RCSTT and Bangladesh in science, technology transfer, and innovation, expressing hope for further improvement in this collaboration.
