9th Bi-annual Meeting of the Committee of Senior Officials (CSO) Durban, South Africa 19 – 20 June 2019
The 9th Bi-annual Meeting of the Committee of Senior Officials (CSO) took place at the Coastlands Umhlanga Hotel and Convention Centre, Umhlanga, Durban, KwaZulu-Natal Province, South Africa from 19-20 June 2019. The Meeting was chaired by the Republic of South Africa, and was attended by representatives of IORA Member States namely the Commonwealth of Australia, People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Republic of India, Republic of Indonesia, Islamic Republic of Iran, Republic of Kenya, Malaysia, Republic of Mauritius, Republic of Mozambique, Sultanate of Oman, Republic of Seychelles, Republic of Singapore, Republic of South Africa, Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, United Republic of Tanzania, Kingdom of Thailand, United Arab Emirates and Republic of Yemen. The Regional Centre for Science and Technology Transfer (RCSTT), as a specialised agency of IORA, and the Chair in Indian Ocean Studies (CIOS), attended the meeting.
